Yard Sales

Paul and his Family are addicted to yard sales. Paul love, loves them. Me on the other hand, I could take it or leave them. Most of the time you pull up to a house, all you see is piles of old clothes and really gross baby stuff. Maybe some old bikes and ski gear that was from the 70's. Oh, I can't leave out the mauve, navy, and forest green painted wood decor from the 80's and early 90's. You can find cats with flowers, bears with flowers, or the best is bunnys with flowers.
CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, that's what most, if not all, is. BUT some times you can find a treasure under some old gold picture frame or next to a healthrider. When you find some thing so cool that you would never have seen it at the store or you get something for the best price, you are so so happy. For those that do go, the best sales are the multiple family sales. To day we looked for 30 minutes before we saw a sale. It's still early in the year. We came to a big one out in the Ranches for a little girl with Cancer. We didn't get there until 9:30 or so. We ran into Ryan (Paul's brother) and he had a arm full of treasures. Ryan said we just missed Dan, Dayna, and Tawnie. I am telling you the Gillespie fam' loves yard sales. We went in, they had lots and lots of stuff. Paul got a hunting game for his PlayStation. Wyatt and Dean got a bag full of cars from the movie "Cars," each one at the store is more than 3 bucks and there were 10 or more in the bag. We found a Transformer for Wyatt. The best find of the day was these cute chairs for the boys, the one needs to be fixed, but they are sweet. You can tell Dean and Wyatt love them.

Those chairs are great! We love garage sales too and you wouldn't believe how much of our stuff has come from them. I guess not so much now but before we moved here we went to them all the time. Even now I have a hard time not stopping if I see one! I hate to pass up a bargain! Sounds like you got some good deals :-)

Those are the awesomest chairs I've ever seen. Is that even a word? I found you via Mandy. Hope you don't mind me checking in on you. You look like your still having fun.
