Mowing

You might think I'm crazy but I love to mow the lawn, I love it. There is something about fresh cut grass, maybe the way it smells or the way the lawn looks after with all its strait lines. Today, I got the mower out of winter storage, and she started up just great. With the kids, it takes a much longer time. Wyatt wants me to play in the sand box. Dean is good for a minute then gets sad because he hates touching the grass, and he needs me to move him to another toy in the yard. Our lawn is kind of big, not as big as my mom, Lesli's, but it takes me a few hours to do. I think why I love it so much is that it is hard and I can do something hard and do it well. Paul has taught me a few tricks, how to make the lines perfect and to change the pattern so it grows better. Its one heck of a work out, in the dead of the summer I sweat my guts out.

Good for you for wanting to do it! I told Curry I would never mow the lawn. Never have never will!!

I love mowing the law too, but since my dad retired he won't let me because he has nothing better to do. Enjoy it! Maybe someday Paul will get you a riding mower, but maybe you don't want one.
