Labor Day 2009

Labor Day we went up to the Washington's cabin up at Scofield to fish. As you can see the boys caught a few each. Wyatt was the first to reel in a whopper. We were using worms and colored marshmallows. We only had to cast out 10 feet, anymore they wouldn't bite it. Paul and Brian were working hard and fast getting the worms hooked and the fish off. All Dean talked about before was he wanted a baby fish. Well he got one. This little baby one is a junk fish so Paul threw it into the weeds. Dean was so sad, so his really nice Dad went up in the weeds and found it for him. The fish would jump in front of Dean and he would cry out "the fish just bit me".

Bean Museum

We went to the BYU Bean Museum, (they don't have any beans just stuff animals and bugs.) We called Kelly and Lindsey and their boys to go with us. Paul gave us a one hour time limit because he knew I could be in there for hours looking at each animal and tiny bug. The boys ran threw it pretty fast. It is a cool place to take kids. The museum is free which I had learned last time we went when I went up the desk to pay for our family. They have lots of animals bears, lions, rhinos, giraffes, Dik-diks which was Paul's favorite to say. They have this big butterfly on the wall. When you get close to it you can see it's really hundreds of big and little butterflies in a butterfly pattern. I should have taken a photo of it, next time. After our one hour we headed to the creamery for home made ice cream and burgers. The place is so old, when we were sitting their in the booth I was picturing Paul's parent on their first date. Our day didn't end there we went to "Jacks" to bowl. Wyatt and Paul had been talking about going bowling for a while so we finally did it. Dean and Wyatt and Christian were all pulling strikes with the help of the bumpers. It was a fun day, we all had a great time.

Go Jazz!

We took the boys to see the Jazz. We invited Grammy to help with the boys.
Thank goodness the jazz killed the other team. Paul's blood pressure gets a little high if its close and he almost goes heart attackish if the Jazz are losing. Wyatt had an ornery nap hangover until the last quarter when Grammy bought him ice cream. Dean loved the whole thing, he would clap when the crowd would cheer. Both of the boys were really good until I wanted a family picture. Paul almost fell out of his sit when I cheered a player by name and it was the right name. I think Grammy had a good time with us to.

New Years Day

New years day we called the Jorgensen family to hang out with us. We decided to go to the Clark planetarium. They have a Christmas 3D show, Santa vs the snowman. Wyatt loved the army part it looked like star wars but snowmanish. The sound was loud, Wyatt of course had his ears covered and Christian didn't like the 3D so he didn't have the glasses on until the last 5 minutes. Dean loved it. We walked around than we all went to lunch. Wyatt went home with Christian and played with Christian's new toys. Jorgensens brought Wyatt back then we had dinner and dessert. We had a great day.
