Snowbird

The Jorgensen Family asked us to go up with them to their favorite place Snowbird. We got up there Friday afternoon, then went straight to the pool. We brought the boys' life jackets and they all swam like fishes. Wyatt was jumping into the deep all by himself. We worked up an appetite, so we went for the Mexican food with the best salsa. Then back to our room and played games and watched movies. As we got ready for bed Wyatt prayed "please help mom not to make me go on the Alpine Slide". Some prayers don't get answered like we want. The next morning we had there awesome buffet breakfast, then we were off to the fun rides and tram. I wished I would have taken Wyatt's picture before he went on the Alpine Slide, he we crying Mom don't make me go on this. Well Wyatt is so much like me I can still hear my Dad say "Ammie your going to like this, just do it one time, it's not scary." Thanks to Lindsey she captured Wyatt's face after his ride on the slide and it looked far from pain and agony like he thought. He wanted to go back many more times. Wow kids just kill you some times. We played on Snowbird's bouncy houses and jumpy things. We had some lunch then went up in the tram to the top of the mountain. Came back down, had some ice cream and went home. We had a ton of fun up at Snowbird with the Jorgensen's.

Monster Truck Show

We went to the monster truck show this weekend. It was so AWESOME, we saw gravedigger and blue thunder. Paul found his new dream job as a 4wheeler rider in the motor cross races. We went on a very hot day, look how red the boys' faces are and we were in the shade the whole time. When we got back to the car it read 110*. The Pruneda's meet us there, I think all the boys loved it.

Wantabe Batmens!!!!!

Surprising enough Grammy and Grandpa both got a motorcycle. These are special motorcycles where it doesn't take a lot of talent to balance them, you just get on the motors and go. Well the boys thought they were way cool. Grandpa told Wyatt that Grammy's bike went faster than his and so he needed to ride with her. While I am in St. George, Wyatt told me that he had so much fun because Grammy's bike went 200 mph and Grandpa's only went 100 mph. Thank goodness I trust my parents to know they really wouldn't go that fast, especially with my two precious boys.

They had so much fun that Dean refused to take his helmet and arm pads out to bring them home, he wanted to leave them in grandpa's motor's trunk. He wanted to be ready when they went on another ride.

My mom reports that next trip will be with super cool motorcycle helmets and on the big road, not with ski and bike helmets going through the neighborhood. Next trip to Grandma's house has not been planned, actually may never be planned.

Dog show 2009

Every year Alpine city has a dog show for their city celebration. We have been going since Wyatt was one or so. This year we got to put our own dog in it. Wyatt and Alena got a little nervous and didn't what to do it the last minute but I made them. Here's what they did.

cake

I have to show off this massive cake Wyatt and I made just before his big party. My first thought was to buy a plain half sheet from Costco and put all the candy on it until I bought the candy. Wow, candy is lots of $$$ (can't say Paul will be a little upset) Then I thought I could save 10 bucks and make it myself. You can't tell but one of the 9/13 stuck to the pan and is in three pieces. I saved the cake by putting a pound of butter frosting on it which tasted just like the stores. It was so good my sweet tooth Mom Lesli loved it and asked if I bought it. I think that is one of the best compliments you can say to some one.
I used the new Candy Land board game as my model. We put on the top Sour Patch Kids, Now and Laters for the path, for the blue I cut Air Heads down to size, candy canes, mints, gum drops, gummy fruit, liquorish, Nutter Butters, chocolate Kisses, Rollos, peanut butter cups w/chocolate frosting, Dumb Dumb suckers, gum balls, a cut down ice cream cone with white frosting. I think I did a pretty good job for a novice.

This is the mess I had one hour before the party.

Turning 5

Wyatt thought turning 5 was lots of fun. Wyatt had his first big kid birthday party. He had all of his favorite buddies. We played a few games and ate a giant Candy Land cake. Wyatt's favorite part was opening presents. Thanks everyone he loved all of his gifts he got.

He's back!!!

This hairy man came back after a whole month of salmon fishing in Alaska. We missed him everyday. We are so happy that Paul is back from his wild Alaskan adventure.
The posters we made Dad. Wyatt did his all by his self.
Paul brought the boys some books and tee shirts.
Paul was bored on the boat so this was what they did for fun. But it looks almost like Wyatt's.
This is my favorite thing, all of them on the couch just hang out watching a movie..
I am soooo Happy....
He brought back some fish for everyone he loves.
