Merry Chirstmas

Santa 2008

We made it, we saw Santa. We risked our lives driving in a blizzard, but the boys sat on Santa's lap and told Santa to come to our house. I was not looking forward to going to the mall but we put our snow tires on and went today. I was really surprised there was only 4 families in front of us in line. While in line, Dean pointed and said Santa, it was so cute. Wyatt and I practiced what he was going to say and he did great. After we had lunch and got our last gift, it was kind of fun other than I was pushing Dean in the stroller and piggybacking Wyatt on my back. Wyatt has his dad's mall walking stamina which is about 5 minutes. I'm so glad that was over. Next year we have to find a Santa out of the mall.

Wyatt has asked for shake and go dragsters. Dean asked for choo choos. That sounds easy enough.

Cowboy Dean

Dean has on one of his brothers cowboy boots and one of his own. No pants for this cowboy all he just needs is his black hat, now he is ready to ride.

Counting Down

Poor kids how the days just drag for them. I know lots of moms wish they could just slow 5 minutes down. Wyatt keeps asking me when Christmas is so he can open presents. Wyatt and I made a Christmas Count Down I hope that will help Wyatt now sees that we have a week and some days left before he can open all his presents. Just maybe he won't ask as much.

It is so nice to have indoor plumbing again. Thanks to all that helped us, Dan, your the Man, Bryan, and Gary. Thanks for the hot showers and warm toilet seats, Dayna, Melissa, and Lesli. Thanks Mom for the tile, We love it so much. Thank you Paul for your hard work on our beautiful bathroom.

Paul is going to kill me for posting this great picture. I just had to, he was the first to use that beautiful new tub.

Bathroom #1

Paul agreed to redo the bathroom for our Christmas. Our really old bathroom was falling down into the crawl space. It was always so gross even after I would bleach the heck out of it. Also the cracked window showed us naked in the shower to our new neighbors. When you give Paul an idea he runs with it. So the next day he called his dad Dan to come help and they where tearing up the bathroom. Everything is going, floor, walls, ceiling, bath, sink, and window. I couldn't but help with the demo. I figured I couldn't stand it, I should be the one tearing it apart. That same day I started to feel sick, at one point I had to stop the demo so I could sit on the toilet, but no toilet it was now in the backyard. So first day wasn't as exciting as I had dreamed about. Paul and Dan got everything out, the new sheet rock up and the window in on the first day. That night Paul started to get sick to. I told him to sleep overnight with me at his mom and dad's house where there was a nice warm toilet in the next room, but he didn't, so he was outside going to the bathroom in a bucket.
Day 2 Paul, Dan and Ammie got the bath tub in, sheet rock up and it mudded and taped.
Day 3 more mud, tile started and watched the big BYU game with the whole family at our house no toilet.
Day 4 Sunday church Wyatt gave his first talk.
Day 5 well Dan is here and Paul is not, Paul is off building a wall trying to earn some $$$. So I will keep you updated. PS. I made Paul put in the toilet just on the sheeting. Melissa thank you, but we won't be coming over every few hours to use your toilet.

Wyatt's room

This morning Wyatt called out to me to come into his room to see somethings. I wasn't expecting this. I guess this is a great way to have Wyatt help me organize his room. After an hour of dusting, cleaning, organizing. It looked like this.
