Halloween Week

Our Halloween this year was really a week long almost everyday we tricked for treats. Saturday before we went to the zoo with Jack and Brittany. We will never go to the zoo to the trick or treat thing again. It had way to many people, too crazy not very fun. Monday we went to Grandma Summers and carved pumpkins and ate cookies. Randi helped Wyatt do an alien face it was cool. Tuesday we went to the Lowes home and had a scone party. Lori is so cute she had the kids trick or treat her house. Ben was the scone master. Wednesday Wyatt had his party at school. He played games and his teacher Miss Gretel gave each kid a pumpkin from her garden and they put faces on them. Friday we went up to Grammy Lyle's work party and got lots of candy. Then we trick or treated at Grandma Summers. It was really fun week, lots of sugar and parties.

Family Night

Our friends the Lowe's invited us to go 4 wheeling with them. We head west to five mile pass. It was so much fun, there are tons of little rolley hills. They have this cool 4 wheeler that really is not a 4 wheeler, it's more like a minnie jeep. As you can see the "Ranger" holds all 4 kids, Lori and Ben. Ben was crazy in the mud. The boys getting ready to go.

First Snow

While at Grandma Summers' cabin, Wyatt had a dream that it snowed. He dreamed him and his Dad went snowmobiling. After we got back from the cabin it snowed, Wyatt was so happy. He played as long as he could then came in to get warm. Later Wyatt went out again but the snow was starting to melt. Wyatt was almost in tears "Mom it's turning to spring, all the snow is melting!!!" I'm sure a lot of people would love winter to be just one snow flake but it is not. Thank goodness for Wyatt's sack.
Here are my cute snow buddies.

Cabin

This weekend we went up to Grandma Summers' cabin. She has a beautiful cabin with lots of fun things. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of the inside, next time. The weather was cold and snowy but that didn't get us down. We had a blast four wheeling and swinging on her new swing.

Wyatt talked Grandma's ear off while helping her with breakfast. We helped get the cabin ready for winter. Wyatt wanted it to snow a lot so he could take out the snowmobiles, that will have to be next time too. Thanks grandma for the great weekend.

Grandma hang on to your dogs Wyatt's driving.

Look Wyatt is really high up their.
Your getting a preview of our Christmas card. That is if we don't take another family picture before then. I like the bottom one better but I need to find some one that can change Dean's face with the top one. Last year Christmas card Dean was mad face. so it would be nice to send out one that is happy since he is so happy all the time.

Why is it...

Why is it every time you are leaving to go out of town your kids make a big mess.

I had measured out two cups of rice to take out to the cabin. Dean pulled it down off the counter and ripped a big whole in the bag and got it all over the house. Most of it fell in his bedroom. This is Deans rice dance...aurrr

Fruits and Veggies

I just completed this cute quilt for my cute husband even though it's not very boyish. He doesn't like to eat his vegis, so I am making him lie with them. He wanted it huge so his toes would be always covered. So this winter he will be nice and toasty dreaming of our garden next year.

He was a little upset thinking that he was just going to get good things to look at, so I gave him one strip of junk food to look at. Cookies and chips. Enjoy it Paul, that's all you are going to get, NOT THE REAL THING

Dryer

Our dryer has been out for 2 1/2 weeks. Paul tore it apart found the problem then ordered the parts, then put it a back together again. Who knew I was married to a small appliance guy. I would like to also thank my mother-in-law for letting us use her dryer and my neighbors Melissa. Oh yeah thanks Shelly for letting me hang my laundry on your line. After a day of hanging and unhanging laundry, I feel like I got to know my past Grandmas and their mothers a lot better. Halleluiah the dryer is feeling better and back to work. Paul you really should get a gold star.

Bobcat

I wish bobcats were a little cheaper, because every BOY should have one. Wyatt and Dean love it when Paul takes them on rides. They know the sound of the motor and they will stop playing and run for the front yard. Wyatt and Dean will cry there guts out when Paul is all done.
